Cancerversary reflections

A friend sent me this article this morning, à propos of my anniversary. It seems very apt.

About Jet Black

I began blogging because having been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, I wanted to share my experiences of living with an incurable cancer. Through blogging, I discovered that I enjoy writing. I have always chosen to live life for the journey, more than the destination. This is as true for the act of writing as it is for living with myeloma, so these are two things I do: I live and I write!

  1. Helen Wolfson says:

This is a good way to live – even if we do not have a serious illness. But sadly I often forget, Thanks for sending it on to me.

  2. I agree with Helen’s comment… but I have to say I am glad to know you are still around, Jet, because sometimes when we don’t hear about or from folks for awhile… well, we wonder. Just to let you know I was thinking about you.
