Not only, but also…

As if I hadn’t been prodded, poked, injected, infused enough… there’s more to come…

Due to having a stem cell transplant, my immune system has been completely changed, renewed if you will, except that it is now slightly compromised. This means that I am now recommended and entitled to have an annual flu vaccine. But that isn’t all… check out this chart that they sent me three months post-transplant:

What can I say? Lucky me that I’ve now got over my fear of needles, eh? 🙂

About Jet Black

I began blogging because having been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, I wanted to share my experiences of living with an incurable cancer. Through blogging, I discovered that I enjoy writing. I have always chosen to live life for the journey, more than the destination. This is as true for the act of writing as it is for living with myeloma, so these are two things I do: I live and I write!

  4. Well, one way to look at it is that they are expecting you to be living in 7 months… I know I have a wierd sense of humor. Aren’t you glad you are feeling better and better every day so you can go and get stuck?
